- 1). Visit the Verizon Wireless website. Sign in with your user name and password. Click on your phone's model.
- 2). Navigate to the "Support" website. See if there is an update for your phone available, including what it fixes. Download the USB drivers for your phone. This lets your computer recognize your cell phone.
- 3). Download the "software upgrade tool" for your cell phone. Install both the USB drivers and upgrade tool by following the on-screen instructions.
- 4). Launch the upgrade connect tool application. Attach the USB cable to your LG Voyager. Connect the other end to your desktop computer's or laptop's available USB port.
- 5). Follow the instructions for installing the software upgrade tool to your phone. Disconnect your LG Voyager when prompted. Restart your phone for it to recognize the software upgrade.
