- 1). Press the button on the pearl keypad that correlates to the letter you want to use. Press the button again if the letter you want is the second letter on the key.
- 2). Type numbers by holding the "Sym" button then pressing the key that corresponds to the number you want.
- 3). Type a symbol, such as a question mark or an exclamation point, by pressing the "Sym" key then tapping on the symbol you want to use.
- 4). To type a capital letter, press and hold the "#" key, then press the letter key.
- 5). Press the "space" key to create spaces between words.
