I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in May 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

Holly Cove is a very well-maintained campground. The owner was constantly working around the grounds. We stayed there for eight nights in a 36-foot fifth wheel. We were very pleased with every aspect of this campground.

Pros: It was very well kept. Very scenic with views of the mountains.


Close to Cherokee, Dillsboro, Waynesville and Ashville.

Cons: The only thing negative I could possibly say is that the terrain is very steep, and if you had trouble walking uphill, you may have some difficulty getting around this campground as it is literally on the side of a mountain.

Nearby attractions: Cherokee Indian Reservation and Casino, Biltmore Estate, Gatlinburg (1 hour), Blue Ridge Parkway, Waynesville and Dillsboro - quaint nearby towns with unique shops.

Further comments:

We would definitely return to this campground. We were pleased in every way.
