- 1). Connect the S-video cable into the S-video "Out" port on the cable/satellite receiver. The cable connection is circular and has a multiple square connectors in the port.
- 2). Plug the opposite end of the cable into the S-video "In" port on the NEC VT540.
- 3). Power on the cable/satellite receiver and the digital projector.
- 4). Push the "Menu" button on the NEC VT540, then choose the "Input" option. Select "Video" and the cable/satellite television programming is projected onto the projection surface.
