How to Make a Printable Sympathy Card
- 1). Open the Print Workshop program and click on File, which will bring up the drop down menu. Click on New and select the option New Project Wizard.
- 2). Look at the options listed under the New Project Wizard and choose the template Vertical Half Fold Card.
- 3). Take a look at the preview for the card template, which allows you to see an overview of the card before you begin designing. Push the button Finish if you are ready to begin designing your card.
- 4). Choose the Set Color icon on the toolbar, which allows you to select the background color of the card.
- 5). Go to the icon Add Image and select the option From Disc to open up the flower picture that you have taken especially for your sympathy card. Click and drag the image to the center of your card.
- 6). Select the Text icon and click on the option Text Box, which enables you to compose a message for your card. Type the desired message inside the Text Box and hit the Ok button when finished.
- 7). Click and drag the message to the desire portion of the card.
- 8). Go under File on the toolbar and select the option Print Preview to make sure your card is ready to print. Hit the Print button if your card is ready.
- 9). Allow the ink to dry before composing a handwritten message on the inside of the card.
- 1). Open Windows Live Photo Gallery and click on the flower photo you would like to print.
- 2). Go to the toolbar, click Print, and scroll through the photo size options.
- 3). Click on the option 3.5-by-5 inches and select one photo to print.
- 4). Print out the photo and then cut it down to size.
- 5). Make your card by folding a sheet of card stock in half.
- 6). Use a glue stick to affix the picture of the flower to the card. Let the card dry.
- 7). Write a sympathetic message on the inside of the card.
