- 1). Locate the "Power/ATT" button on the bottom right-hand side of your JVC CD receiver. Press the button once to power on the stereo unit.
- 2). Locate the "Menu" button to the left of the multicontrol dial on the left-hand side of your JVC CD receiver. Press and hold the "Menu" button to bring up the main menu screen on the display.
- 3). Turn the multicontrol dial to highlight the "Clock" option. Press the multicontrol dial to bring up the clock menu. Turn the dial to highlight the "Set Clock" option. Press the dial again to make your selection.
- 4). Turn the multicontrol dial to set the hours place digits to the desired value. Press the multicontrol dial to advance the setting to the minutes place. Turn the dial to set the minutes place digits to the desired value. Press the multicontrol dial once more to save your changes.
- 5). Use the multicontrol dial to highlight and select the "24H/12H" option on the display screen. Turn the dial to choose between the 24- and 12-hour time formats. Press the dial to make your selection.
- 6). Press the "Menu" button to exit the settings screen and return the receiver to the regular display mode.
