How to Melt Crayons in Baking Molds
- 1). Preheat an oven to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2). Chop crayon stubs into ½-cm long pieces with a knife.
- 3). Fill the tins or molds with the crayon pieces.
- 4). Bake the crayons for 15 to 20 minutes, until fully melted.
- 5). Remove the crayons from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
- 6). Turn the molds upside down and pop the crayon shapes out of the molds. If they don't come out, stick the molds in the freezer for about an hour and try again. Use a small, narrow knife to pry them out, if necessary.
