Last year as we were preparing for our annual holiday in our mobile home, a friend of mine came along bearing a gift. Out came the Amana portable air conditioner, something I did not even knew existed.

After the unit was unpacked, I saw how small and compact the design was and slowly the little thing started to creep into my heart. It was not until we switched it on that I lost my heart completely.

True to its promise, the Amana portable air conditioner kept our home cold right through our holiday. Every where we stopped, I made sure there was a plug point close by. Nothing beats coming back to a crispy cold home on wheels after a day spent in the hot sun.

The best thing about he Amana was that it took no maintenance at all. I heard horrible stories about water dripping from air conditioners before, but this was not the case here. Bone dry, the cooler went about doing his job without as much as a single problem.
