Converting iPod Video With An Onine Video Conversion Service

• 1). Go to a video conversion website, for example, the Media Converter video conversion website (see the link in Resources), Click on the 'Upload File" button on the web page.
  
  
• 2). Navigate in the window that appears to the iPod video file on the computer's hard drive. Highlight the iPod video file by clicking on it once with the mouse. Press the "Open" button on the window to close the window.
  
  
• 3). Click on the "Next" button on the web page to go to a new web page.
  
  
• 4). Select "3G (Cell phone)" from the drop down menu next to the "Video File Format" tab. Click on the "Next" button to go to a new web page.
  
  
• 5). Click on the "Convert" or "Start" button on the new web page. Wait as the iPod video file is uploaded to the website video conversion's online server and converted into the cell phone-compatible file format.
  
  
• 6). Click on the pop-up window's "Save" button when it appears.
  
  
• 7). Navigate to the desktop of the computer in the window that appears. Name the cell phone-compatible file in the "Name" text field at the top of the window. Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the window to save the cell phone-compatible file to the computer's desktop.
  
  

Converting iPod Video With Video Conversion Software

• 1). Download a video conversion software program to the computer's desktop, for example, the MediaCell Video Converter program or the A-one iPod PSP 3GP Converter program. Double-click on the program once it has downloaded. Follow the menu prompts to install the software. Restart a PC.
  
  
• 2). Double-click on the icon of the video conversion program to launch it. Drag the iPod video into the icon of the video conversion program--the icon is on the desktop or in the Dock to the left or at the bottom of the screen. Wait for the iPod video to load into the video conversion program.
  
  
• 3). Select "3G/Cell phone" from the "File Format" drop down menu on the video conversion program's main screen. Click on the "Browse" button next to the "File Output" tab. Navigate in the window that appears to the desktop. Press the "Open" button to close the window.
  
  
• 4). Name the cell phone-compatible video file that is about to be made in the "Name" column of the video conversion program's main screen. Press the "Convert" or "Start" button on the video conversion program's main screen to convert the iPod video to a cell phone-compatible video file on the desktop. Quit the video conversion program once the file has been saved.
