Enable W-iFi Tethering on EVO

• 1). Press the menu button on your EVO, and then tap the "Settings" option.
  
  
• 2). Tap the "Wireless & networks" selection.
  
  
• 3). Scroll down if necessary and tap "Tethering & portable hot spot."
  
  
• 4). Tap "Portable Wi-Fi hot spot settings," then "Configure Wi-Fi hot spot."
  
  
• 5). Enter a name for your EVO hotspot in the "Network SSID" field, and then tap "Save."
  
  
• 6). Tap the check box next to "Portable Wi-Fi hot spot."
  
  

Connect iPad to EVO Hot Spot

• 1). Tap the "Settings" icon on your iPad to open the settings menu.
  
  
• 2). Tap the "Wi-Fi" tab.
  
  
• 3). Press the "Off" button next to the "Wi-Fi" option to turn it "On."
  
  
• 4). Tap on your EVO's hot spot network name under the "Choose a Network..." heading. This connects your iPad to your EVO's hot spot and allows your iPad to use your EVO's Internet connection.
