• The Canon BP-945 is a Lithium-Ion (Li-ion) battery that produces an output voltage of 7.2 volts. The battery has a capacity of 6600 mAh and weighs approximately 620 grams. New batteries come with a one-year warranty.

• Relatively small and lightweight, the battery will not suffer from "memory effect," meaning it can be discharged and recharged at any time and it will not lose its ability to hold a full charge. When it is being used, the battery is in constant contact with the camcorder. Its power status will be displayed at all times in both the camera's viewfinder and the LCD (liquid crystal display), so you will know how much shooting time you have left.
