Installing the Bulb

• 1). Use the screwdriver to loosen the clamps holding any glass or wire protective covers in place, and move the covers out of the way.
  
  
• 2). Remove the tubular bulb from its packaging, being careful not to touch the glass with your fingers. Wear gloves or wrap it in cloth or paper.
  
  
• 3). Snap the bulb into place. Each end of the bulb is slightly recessed and the contacts in the lamp are spring loaded. It will snap easily into place.
  
  
• 4). Replace the protective covers. Simply reverse the process of removing them.
