- 1). Connect the VCR and TV via the coaxial output on the VCR, and coaxial input on the set. Screw on the cable connectors using a clockwise twist.
- 2). Push in the RCA patch cord leading from the external device needing to be modulated into the "Line In" on the rear of the VCR. Press up or down on the channel buttons on the front of the VCR until "Line" or "L1" is visible on the display.
- 3). Turn on the external modulated device to ensure proper operation. Turn on the TV and tune to channel 3 or 4 to confirm picture and sound, depending on the channel used for normal VCR operation.
