How to Make a Double-Strand Wire Bracelet

    • 1). Measure your wrist by wrapping the wire around it. Add 1 inch for comfort and 1 inch for attachment. If you are making the bracelet for someone, generally 6 1/2 or 7 inches is appropriate. If you're not sure how long to make it, it's better to leave the wire a bit too long than to cut it too short. You can always trim extra length off later, but you can't add more. Cut the wire with wire cutters, and then cut a second piece of the same length. Measure a centimeter in from one end and bend the wire 90 degrees. This sleight L shape will stop your beads from falling off. Do this to the other wire as well.

    • 2). Arrange the beads down the wire how you want them. Put the two wires next to each other to see how the beads will look beside one another. When you are done, make another 90-degree bend in the wire after the last bead to prevent your pattern from being ruined. Now both ends of each piece will look like Ls.

    • 3). Hold up one piece of your two-part, two-hole toggle clasp. Put the small part of your L from one wire through one of the holes, and bend the small piece poking through the hole around the hole and back towards the wire. This should create a small loop, and the wire should be secured to the clasp. Do this again with the second piece of wire. Both pieces of wire should now be hanging from one part of your two-hole toggle clasp.

    • 4). Take the second piece of your toggle clasp and repeat Step 3 with the opposite ends. This is going to make the bracelet complete. Fasten the two ends of the toggle clasp to see how the bracelet fits and to make sure it's secure.
