Homemade Screen Protectors
- 1). Measure the length and width of your screen with a tape measure. Add 1 inch to the length to allow for space to hold the tape while working.
- 2). Cut a piece of the tape to the measurements you took. Use sharp scissors to make very straight, clean cuts.
- 3). Add two drops of dish soap to a cup of water and mix them together.
- 4). Dip the tape in the soapy water and set it sticky side down onto the screen. Let the excess water drip off the tape before moving it near the screen.
- 5). Rub a small plastic squeegee up and down the length of the screen to remove the water behind the tape. Keep a paper towel nearby to soak up the water and keep it out of your phone.
- 6). Trim off the excess tape with a blade and smooth the tape down again with the squeegee. Make sure all of the liquid is gone.
