There is in fact no mystery to Abs, they are nothing more than abdominal muscles that lather our body up and down and assist us in our breathing.
Mostly noticeable when one maintains the body in good form and when not maintained they leave us looking very bulgy and out of proportion all over.
We are advised to maintain this area of our body via healthy eating and daily exercise, allowing our body to cleanse itself of any toxins that are built up particularly in the lower abdomen area.
Abs when functioning properly assists other part of our internal organs such as the liver and colon and each organ playing their part to contribute to the other.
Abs are able to be kept healthy without the bulging effect that most sportsman tend to work towards and in the case of women, they are less likely to achieve the same feature in the Abs as what men do without putting themselves through extreme physical and torturous workouts.
The Abs contain the rectus abdominus muscle all sitting firmly between the pelvis and the chest only to be separated from the chest by nothing more than a diaphragm.
Our Abdominal muscles play a big part in the support of our spine, without strong abdomens our spine would have less support and could result in curvature of the spine and possibly for the spine to grow incorrectly.
Designed to be one of the most attractive parts of the human body if looked after and maintained properly, the lower and upper abdomen should look in complete harmony with each other if one wishes to have them desired.
This strong attractive look is normally more noticeable by athletes that compete in water such as iron men, swimmers and in particular the swimmers that do breaststroke or butterfly and not to mention our favorite surfers.
