- 1). Loosen and remove two Phillips screws on the top of the dashboard's speaker grilles. Pull firmly on the grilles towards the back of the truck to remove them after the screws have been taken out.
- 2). Loosen and remove the screws holding the speakers in place. The screws have 9/32-inch hex heads--use your socket and ratchet to remove them.
- 3). Pull the speakers up and out of the dash. Grasp the plug on the back of each speaker and pull it off.
- 4). Plug the new speakers into the wiring plug. Set them into the openings and screw them in place with the 9/32-inch screws.
- 5). Place the grilles onto the speakers and screw them in with the Phillips screws.
