How to Connect a DVD Player to a Dtv Tuner & TV
- 1). Screw the connector at the end of the TV antenna's coaxial cable into the RF In nodule on the back of the DTV tuner.
- 2). Connect one end of one of the independent coaxial cables into the RF Out nodule on the back of the DTV tuner. Connect the other end of this cable to the RF In port on the back of the TV set.
- 3). Connect the DTV tuner's power cable to the power jack located on the back of the tuner. Plug the cable into a power outlet.
- 4). Turn on the DTV tuner. Switch on the TV. Set the TV to channel 3.
- 5). Aim the DTV remote at the tuner and press "Menu." Use the arrow navigational buttons on the remote to locate the "Channel Scan" menu option. Once the find the option, highlight and select it. It will take a minute or more for the tuner to complete the channel scan. It's best not to interrupt this process. The channel scan is what works to program the DTV tuner with the local TV channels.
- 1). Turn the TV off before hooking up DVD player to it.
