- 1). Open the hood or hatchback of your Hyundai Accent, depending on where the burned out direction light is located.
- 2). Unscrew the two retaining screws that hold the direction light housing on your Hyundai in place.
- 3). Pull the direction light housing toward you, and locate the bulb socket. It is attached to the direction light housing from the back side on your Hyundai Accent.
- 4). Twist the bulb socket to the left with your hand, and allow it to slide out of the housing from the rear.
- 5). Twist the old direction light bulb to the left, and remove it.
- 6). Slide the new bulb into the socket, and tighten it, turning it slightly to the right. Slide the bulb and socket into the direction light housing, and twist it into place.
- 7). Place the direction light housing back into place, and screw the retaining screws into place.
