The dance track "Midnight City" keeps inching its way up the countdown. This week, the breakthrough hit for M83 moves up one more spot to No. 8. 6. Grouplove - "Tongue Tied"


For a second week in a row, "Tongue Tied" holds down the No. 6 spot. Grouplove member Christian Zucconi recently explained the inspiration behind the single: "That song was written pretty fast. 5. Soundgarden - "Live to Rise"

2. Linkin Park - "Burn It Down"


"Burn It Down" is moving up. Two weeks ago, the latest single from Linkin Park bum-rushed the chart, landing at No. 2. 1. Gotye (Featuring Kimbra) - "Somebody That I Used to Know"


For seven out of the last eight weeks, Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" has been No. 1 on the Rock Songs chart. It's been a remarkable year for the singer-songwriter, who has played on Saturday Night Live and at Coachella already in 2012.
