    Ponderosa Campground

    • Ponderosa Campground takes the Wild West theme commonly associated with Cody to a whole new level. The campground features sites to hookup RVs, heated cabins for rent and sites to pitch tents and tepees. Pondersa is just down the road from Yellowstone National Park and also features events such as rodeos, golfing, ice skating and indoor pools. From Ponderosa you can purchase adventure packs that can including hiking, hunting and fishing and explore local museums dedicated to Wild Bill Cody himself, as well as Wild West art galleries.

    Absaroka Bay RV Park

    • Absaroka Bay RV Park offers a prime place to park your vehicle for some touring and sightseeing in the Cody area. Each RV site offers electricity, sewer and water, and each site features hookups for cable and Internet access (as well as Wi-Fi access). The campground features hot showers and laundry facilities to save you some water use in your RV. Absaroka is located within a few miles of a number of activities, including golf courses, museums, rodeos and fine-dining restaurants. You can also take tours of Cody, Yellowstone and Wild Horse from this campsite.

    Big Game Campground

    • The Big Game Campground features 16 camping sites that overlook the Shoshone River flowing through the national forest. The campground is open for camping from June to September and offers RV hookups and restrooms. The Big Game Campground features activities including horseback riding, fishing, hiking and hunting, as well as picnic areas and areas designated for off-road vehicle use. There are also a number of sites within the campground and along the trails to view wildlife, and the campground is near Holy City, a natural red sandstone formation. Please note that the campsites at Big Game Campground are limited to trailers that are less than 32 feet in length.
