- 1). Cut two pieces of tulle. Each piece should be long enough to go around the present twice.
- 2). Lay one piece of tulle horizontally on a flat surface. Lay the second piece of tulle vertically on top of the first piece so they cross in the middle.
- 3). Set the present in the middle of the crossed tulle pieces. Bring the ends of the vertical piece up and tie in a square knot. Pull tight. Repeat with the horizontal piece. The two knots should sit on the top of the present.
- 4). Cut a long piece of thin wire. Use each piece of tulle to make a loop, like you are tying a shoe. Make one with each piece of tulle. Gather the loops together in one hand and twist once. Wrap the wire around the loops' base and twist tightly. Snip off the extra wire with wire cutters.
- 5). Fluff the tulle with your hands. Cut a piece of ribbon and tie it around the wire to hide it (you can also use another small piece of tulle). The tulle is now the bow on your present box.
