    • 1). Attach the no-tip bracket to the rear bottom of the stove using the supplied hardware and a screwdriver to tighten the screws into the bracket. Skip this step if your model does not use a no-tip bracket.

    • 2). Twist the coupler on the end of the gas hose supplied with the stove clockwise by hand onto the inlet valve on the back of the appliance. Seal the connection with a half turn using the adjustable wrench.

    • 3). Connect the other end of the hose to the valve in the household line on the wall or near the floor in the kitchen. Tighten the connection with the wrench.

    • 4). Mix liquid soap and water in a bucket, stirring to make foam. Soap the sponge in the soapy water.

    • 5). Open the knob in the gas line where it attaches to the stove hose, twisting the knob counterclockwise.

    • 6). Squeeze some of the foam on the sponge onto the gas line connections and watch for bubbling or spitting froth, which are signs of a leak. If you see bubbles, or hear or smell LP gas, close the valve knob and start over. If the connections satisfy the leak test, continue with the installation.

    • 7). Plug in the electrical cord for the stove into a standard wall outlet. The gas stove uses electricity to operate the igniter.

    • 8). Slide the stove to the desired position in the kitchen, taking care not to bend or crimp the LP hose.
