How to Apply Mineral Face Powder & Blush

    • 1). Begin with skin that has been washed, toned and moisturized. Shake a small amount of the mineral foundation into the lid of its container. Lightly dip the concealer brush into the makeup. Tap the brush on the side of the lid to remove excess makeup. Use the concealer brush to apply foundation to specific problem areas such as blemishes, areas of redness or dark circles under the eyes. Always use circular motions to apply the foundation.

    • 2). Swirl the kabuki brush through the makeup lightly and tap it on the side of the lid to remove excess powder. Begin on your cheeks and move around the whole face with small, circular motions. Don't forget to apply to the neck and jaw line. Continue applying and create several light layers until you reach the level of coverage you desire.

    • 3). Shake a small amount of mineral bronzer/all-over face color into the lid of its container. Lightly dip the kabuki brush into the makeup. Tap the brush on the side of the lid to remove excess makeup. With gentle, circular motions, apply the color to the skin to highlight your features. Some key areas to apply mineral bronzer/all-over face color include: the edge of the face, the sides of the nose, the forehead, under the cheekbones and under the lower lip.

    • 4). Shake a small amount of the mineral setting powder into the lid of its container. Lightly dip the kabuki brush into the makeup. Tap the brush on the side of the lid to remove excess makeup. Use gentle, circular motions to apply the setting powder to the whole face and neck area. Layer the powder and continue to buff the face for a natural, healthy look.

    • 5). Shake a small amount of the mineral blush into the lid of its container. Lightly dip the blush brush into the makeup. Tap the brush on the side of the lid to remove excess makeup. Use tight, circular sweeps of the brush to apply blush to the apples of the cheeks. Create several layers if necessary to achieve the desired results.
