I found out about this campground in Good Sam's Trailer Life, and I RV camped there in October 2009.
Describe your camping trip:
When we pulled up, the people at the check-in counter acted as if we were interrupting their TV program - not at all friendly. The sites were on sandy soil, not level and it looked as if 95% of the campground were seasonals that had not moved in 10 years or so.
Very dark and damp. The electric hookups were not in working order, the cable we paid for was locked and we could not find anyone to help unlock it. The sites around us had pulled wires from the cable boxes and set up satellite dishes with wires loose running across the ground. What a mess!
Pros: Nothing. I would not camp here again.
Cons: The hookups were not accessable, people were not helpful, and it cost $38.00 a night!
Nearby attractions: Just off Interstate 301 North.
Further comments: This was a noisy campground. We had to listen to a dog bark all night along with traffic noise.
