    • 1). Park your Frontier on a flat surface and engage the emergency brake.

    • 2). Jack up the front end of the Frontier. Slide jack stands in place and set your vehicle down on them. Remove the lug nuts and front tires to access grease fittings close to the wheels. Remove the two grease fitting caps on the inside of the driver's side wheel. Pry them off by hand or use a pair of pliers to remove them. The caps are made of high alloy aluminum or durable plastic, so you will not harm them if you have to use pliers to pull them off.

    • 3). Locate the area where the front axle joins at the frame. There will be a fitting there. Remove the fitting cap the same way you did in the step above.

    • 4). Move to the front passenger side. Find the two zerk caps on the inside of the wheel and remove those two. Next, remove the zerk cap that is on the fitting where the axle meets the front frame.

    • 5). Replace your front tires, put the lugs on and then tighten them with your lug wrench. Jack up your Frontier, slide the jack stands out and then lower the vehicle with the jack.

    • 6). Jack up the rear end of your Frontier, and slide jack stands into place under the frame. Lower the Frontier down on the jack stands and then remove the two rear tires.

    • 7). Locate the two grease fittings on the inside of the rear driver's side wheel. Pry the grease fitting caps off. Then find the fitting where the rear axle joins up with the frame. Remove this cap too.

    • 8). Move to the rear passenger side and remove the two zerk caps on the inside of the wheel. Locate the last zerk cap where the axle meets the frame on the rear passenger side.
