    • 1). Jailbreak your iPhone and install the Cydia application. Launch the installer and click on the "Sources" icon. Click on "Edit" and "Add," then type in apptapp.saurik.com, which will refresh the source screen. You will see "Saurik's source" at the bottom of the screen. Click on the"Install" icon located at the bottom and go to the systems folder. Next, install the "Cydia" application.

    • 2). Install a theme by going to the "Install" tab and installing the "Winterboard" application. Next, locate a theme by clicking on the "Themes" icon, again under the "Install" tab. Next, choose "Winterboard" and select a theme you would like to install. Install the theme, then go back to the main screen of your iPod touch where the "SMB Prefs" icon is located.

    • 3). Open the "SMB prefs" icon. Next, go to the "Themes" tab and select the specific theme that you wish to use. You can edit the theme options by turning on or off the theme wallpaper, theme status bar, theme icons and theme dock. Advanced settings exist to tweak the theme, such as wallpaper dimming. Once you have finished choosing and customizing the settings, go back to the main screen of your iPod touch. Your new theme will be installed, which will include a new wallpaper, new icons and more. To change your theme at any time, go back to "SMB prefs" and select the original theme or any new theme you wish to apply.
