How to Check Date & Time Settings If Your iPhone Cannot Connect to the Store
- 1). Tap the "Settings" icon on the iPhone's home screen, followed by the "General" option.
- 2). Tap the "Date & Time" option and slide the "Set Automatically" option to the "Off" position.
- 3). Tap the "Time Zone" option to check the time zone setting. If the time zone is not accurate, type the name of the appropriate time zone in the space provided. Select the time zone from the list of results to set it as the phone's time zone.
- 4). Tap the "Set Date & Time" option to check the date and time settings. If the date is not accurate, tap the date and use the touchscreen to set the correct date. If the time is not accurate, tap the time and use the touchscreen to set the correct time. Once the date and time settings have been adjusted, press the device's home button to return to home screen and save the changes.
