Bodyweight Backyard Training

103 5
The Backyard is a great place to train it's free and it works.
If you can't motivate yourself to train at home you probably won't stick with any program.
If you have even a small yard, you could get a great workout that will build lean athletic muscle.
This all falls on your shoulders, you don't need a gym to get the best results.
I have had emails sent to me telling me that people would rather workout in a gym environment and that's fine but when I'm told they go to the gym for the social aspect stop wasting my time.
Training should be fun.
But if you need to socialize you are not serious about your training and you are only kidding yourself.
Training outdoors in the heat, cold, rain, snow will build a certain type of toughness-it's not for everyone but there are some people that use the weather excuse not to train.
The great thing about training in the backyard, just open the door walk out-train and your done, the only travel time you have is walking to the back yard.
If you have kids, and have a swing set use the swing-set and swings as part of your workouts.
Use the swings for pushups, bodyweight flys, do pullups, put your feet on the swings and do pushups this will work the core as well as the whole body.
You can run short sprints in your backyard, if you don't have a yard walk out to the sidewalk and do sprints on the sidewalk.
There is no excuse for not training, just make it fun and switch it up as much as possible.
