- 1). Locate the video file on your computer ending in ".avi" that you would like to add to your iPod Mini, and launch your iTunes media player on your computer.
- 2). Drag and drop the video file into the library of your iTunes and allow a few seconds for the video to load into the library.
- 3). Attach your iPod Mini to your computer using the Apple USB cable that came with your device. Allow a few seconds for the iPod to establish a connection with your computer.
- 4). Click the "iPod" tab on the left side menu of your iTunes player, and select "Videos" in the iPod main menu.
- 5). Click the box in front of your newly added video to make sure the box is checked. Select "Apply" at the bottom of the screen.
- 6). Click "Sync" to transfer the video to your iPod and allow a few seconds for the video to load onto your device. Wait for the upper display on the iTunes to read "OK to disconnect," and you can remove your iPod from the USB cable and access your new video.
