How to Remove Glue From Headliner Boards
- 1). Scrub the headliner board with a scrubbing brush or sandpaper to remove any foam residue.
- 2). Saturate a soft terry cloth with water and dish soap.
- 3). Place the cloth over any glue spots on the headliner.
- 4). Cover the headliner board with a plastic sheet or trash bag.
- 5). Leave the moist cloths on the headliner for four hours, allowing the glue to moisten.
- 6). Remove the plastic covering and moist cloth.
- 7). Wet another terry cloth with soap and water.
- 8). Dab the softened glue with the cloth. Rub gently to remove the glue.
