- 1). Turn on the iPod Touch.
- 2). Turn on the computer.
- 3). Plug the iPod Touch cord into the device.
- 4). Connect the other end of the iPod Touch cord to a USB port on the computer.
- 5). Wait five seconds and press the "Home" button (the bottom button) in the iPod Touch. A green battery icon will appear on the iPod Touch screen. This icon will show you approximately how "charged" the iPod Touch battery is.
