- 1). Turn the iPod Touch on or press the "Home" button at the bottom of the device to put the player out of "Sleep" mode.
- 2). Hold the iPod Touch in a vertical position so that all of the applications are right side up and the "Home" button is on the bottom. The iPod Touch should not be tilted in either direction.
- 3). Press the button for the application that you would like to open on the iPod Touch. That application will open. Wait until the application fully opens.
- 4). Tilt the iPod Touch 90 degrees either clockwise or counterclockwise. When you do, the iPod Touch screen should rotate and you should be able to read the content on the screen.
- 5). Tilt the iPod Touch back to the "home position" (the vertical position) when you wish to rotate the screen back to its original setting.
