- 1). Locate the three screws that are on the backside of the wheel well, behind the tire. You can start with any of the wheels you'll be working with.
- 2). Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove all three screws. The top screw is metal and the bottom two screws are plastic, so use caution when unscrewing the plastic screws.
- 3). Line the mud flap up with the holes in your Miata's wheel well. The mud flaps will be specific to the side of the car they must go on. Depending on your mud flap, there may be a printed "L" for the left side or an "R" for the right side of your Miata.
- 4). Insert the metal screw into the top hole of the mud flap and screw it into place.
- 5). Insert the two plastic screws into the bottom two holes and screw them back into place.
